The 9 fixes, in order of impact
- Remove friction: use a QR tool where guests upload in the browser with no app, account or email.
- Make it big: at least 2 × 2 inches (5 cm) on table cards, larger on signs.
- Put it everywhere guests pause: welcome sign, every table, bar, photo booth, restrooms, dessert table.
- Say what it does: "Scan to add your photos to our album" beats a bare code.
- Get it announced: ask the MC or DJ to mention it after dinner and before the dancing.
- Show a live slideshow: when guests see their photos appear on screen, others start uploading.
- Test the code on Android and iPhone before printing, with mobile data, not just venue Wi-Fi.
- Keep the album open after the wedding: lots of photos arrive the next morning and in the following weeks.
- Send a reminder: drop the upload link in your thank-you message or wedding group chat.
Bad Wi-Fi at the venue?
Uploads of videos can stall on weak connections. Tell guests they can upload later from home — the same QR code or link keeps working for months — and keep a printed card with the link in the favours.
